Gate Operators - Residential, Commerical, and Industrial
Gate operators are an essential part to a professionally secure gated system. Operators are devices that mechanically
open and close gates once they receive an authorized entry/exit signal.
Swing Gate Operators
Swing gate operators are designed to operate vehicular swing gates in residential
and commercial applications. These operators are designed so that they can be either pad or post
mounted without any costly and time consuming field modifications. You need to specify which
mounting method when ordering. The unique design of these operators allows the gate arm to be
attached to the bottom rail of the gate. This eliminates the need for any brackets to be welded
to the face of the gate and creates an aesthetically pleasing installation. The most common swing
gate operators we install include Doorking's 6050 and 6100 models for residential and commercial use,
as well as their 6300 model for industrial size gates. The 6100 can be equipped with a factory
installed DC Convenience Open option which will automatically open the gate in the event of a power
outage.

Slide Gate Operators
Slide gate operators are designed to operate vehicular slide gates in residential, commercial
and industrial applications. These operators are designed so that they can easily be mounted
in the front, center or rear of the gate without any costly and time consuming field modifications.
In addition, the operators can be pad or post mounted to meet any installation requirements.
The most common models our customers purchase are the Doorking 9150, and the 9210. Both models can
be equipped with a factory installed DC Convenience Open option which will automatically open the
gate in the event of a power outage.

Swing Gate Actuators
Swing gate actuators are meant to be mounted directly onto the gate. This is usually a feasible
approach when a gate is in a cramped location, where pad mount operators will not fit. The actuators
are mounted directly onto the gate as to conserve space while still providing a mechanical gate opening
option.

Parking Control Barriers
Parking barriers have many uses. Most commonly they are seen in parking decks. While we do install
many parking control barrier arm operators in parking decks, they are also placed in front of large
vehicular gates, as to provide a much more visible source than a large, black gate during night-time
hours. Another use of these is to deter multiple people entering a resident/complex on one gate opening,
which can nullify the effects of a secured, gated location since non-authorized personel can just follow
closely behind another car to enter, authorized or not. In this case, the parking control operators are
installed in front of the entrance and exit gates, and open only once the gate is fully open. They also
allow only one car to pass through as to prevent the larger gate from being hit/damaged, since they have
a much slower operational speed.
